The hotel was established in 1964 as a central hotel for visiting Ise Shrine. In its proud history of over 45 years, it has hosted many guests from the Japanese Imperial Family, the government and financial circles, as well as official overseas guests.
As part of the planning for the biggest Jingu festival, the Shikinen Sengu Festival (*) held at Ise Shrine once every 20 years, renovations of the hotel guest rooms, main restaurant, bars, and lobby were completed in April 2010 under the concept of "A Resort Embraced by the Pearl Sea," so we can now offer an even more attractive place for you to stay plus service brimming with hospitality.

Shikinen Sengu - The biggest festival in the area held every 20 years, continues a history of approximately 1,300 years, and celebrates the rebuilding of the shrine pavilion. The next Shikinen Sengu Festival is being planned for 2013.
